In a move reflecting its focus on strengthening regional leadership, Treebo Hospitality Ventures has elevated Shashwat Sharma to a broader executive role, placing him in charge of some of the company’s most critical growth markets.
In this role, Sharma will lead the company’s largest regional clusters, with responsibility for the full P&L mandate, expansion strategy, and operational performance across Northern and Eastern India.
The appointment positions Sharma at the centre of Treebo’s efforts to scale its regional footprint, strengthen partner relationships, and drive revenue optimisation in highly competitive hospitality markets. His elevation follows nearly 5 years at the company, during which he held senior leadership roles and played a key role in driving growth and operational efficiency.
Sharma joined Treebo in July 2021 as Senior Director. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in January 2023, a position he held until February 2026. In January 2026, he assumed his current role as Chief Business Officer, continuing his progression within the organisation while expanding his leadership scope.
Before joining Treebo, Sharma built extensive experience in scaling businesses and managing large distribution networks. At Livspace, he spent over 4 years in leadership roles, eventually serving as General Manager. He led the Noida business unit from April 2019 to July 2021 and earlier contributed to market expansion across the Greater Delhi region as Associate General Manager and Community Business Manager.
His entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Cafe Indica Interior Technologies Pvt Ltd in August 2015. As Business Head until January 2017, he managed business development and operations, overseeing P&L across B2B, B2C, and e-commerce verticals while expanding the company’s presence across 3 major cities.
Sharma’s professional foundation was shaped at Bharti Airtel, where he received the CEO Appreciation Award and Achievers’ Club Award, and at LG Electronics, where he ranked among the top 10 performing Area Managers in India.
His elevation highlights Treebo’s continued emphasis on strong regional leadership as the hospitality sector sees renewed growth across tiered markets.
