Infinix launches Note Edge 5G in India with curved AMOLED display and Android 16

A month after its global debut, the latest mid-range smartphone from Infinix has officially entered the Indian market, bringing a focus on display quality, performance, and long-term software support.

Infinix launched the Note Edge 5G in India on Wednesday. The device marks the debut of XOS 16, the brand’s Android 16-based operating system. Positioned in the mid-range segment, the smartphone features a 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. It is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Infinix Note Edge 5G is priced starting at ₹21,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option is priced at ₹23,999, while the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant costs ₹25,999.

The handset will be available in Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, and Silk Green colour options. Sales will begin on February 25 through Flipkart and the Infinix India online store. As part of launch offers, SBI and ICICI bank cardholders can avail instant discounts of up to ₹2,000. Buyers will also receive a 1-time screen replacement within 6 months from the date of purchase and a 1-year extended warranty.

The dual-SIM Infinix Note Edge 5G runs on Android 16-based XOS 16 and is promised 3 years of OS upgrades along with 5 years of security updates. It features a 6.78-inch LTPS 3D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,208 × 2,644 pixels, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Under the hood, the smartphone pairs the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset with a Mali-G610 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. In the camera department, it offers a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and dual flash, along with a 13MP front camera.

Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5.5G and 5G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG, and FM radio. The device carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, measures 163.1 × 77.4 × 7.2mm, weighs about 190g, and supports 10W reverse wired charging.
