Cognizant has strengthened its partnership with Google Cloud, shifting the relationship from platform integration toward large-scale enterprise deployment. The initiative focuses on helping organisations operationalise agentic AI in real-world environments and deliver measurable outcomes.
Building on its earlier adoption of Gemini Enterprise, Cognizant said it is combining internal deployment, commercial execution and delivery investments to accelerate enterprise AI adoption. As part of the expanded collaboration, the company is rolling out Google Workspace internally alongside Gemini Enterprise to improve productivity, employee experience and delivery speed.
The company also plans to introduce a new market offering that integrates Gemini Enterprise with Google Workspace. The solution is designed to help clients transition from manual and fragmented processes to AI-driven workflows, including collaborative content creation and supplier communication use cases.
“This partnership reinforces Cognizant’s position as an AI builder, a new kind of services partner focused on creating purpose-built, enterprise-grade solutions that drive real business outcomes,” said Annadurai Elango, President, Core Technologies and Insights, Cognizant.
To enable scalable delivery, Cognizant is establishing a dedicated Gemini Enterprise centre of excellence and strengthening capabilities required for consistent enterprise deployment. The delivery model will operate through its Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), embedding AI across stages such as design, implementation, validation and production rollout.
“Our partnership with Cognizant brings together advanced AI technology and deep industry expertise to help enterprises operationalise agentic AI,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Ecosystem and Business Development at Google Cloud. “Together, we are enabling organisations to deploy enterprise-ready AI solutions that deliver real business impact.”
Using tools such as Cognizant Ignition and Cognizant Agent Foundry, the company aims to accelerate discovery, prototyping and deployment through no-code capabilities and pre-configured solutions for areas like AI-powered contact centres and intelligent order management.
These capabilities will be demonstrated through existing Google Experience Zones and Gen AI Studios. The company said the strengthened collaboration positions it as a builder and operator of agentic AI systems as enterprises seek governance, clarity and measurable value from AI investments.
