Apurva will be responsible for driving worldwide business expansion, managing customer relationships, and scaling operations in key international markets.
Apurva brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across enterprise technology, SaaS, fintech, venture capital, and global marketing. Before joining Nucleus Software, he served as Global Head of Venture Capital and Startup Partnerships at Google. He joined the company earlier as India Head and was elevated to the global role in 2024.
Apurva’s career includes senior leadership and board roles at several well-known organisations. These include Tech Mahindra, where he served as SVP and Chief of Staff to the CEO and as Board Director at Tech Mahindra Defence Technologies, and RateGain, where he was Chief Revenue Officer. He also spent over a decade at HCLTech in multiple leadership positions, finishing as Global Head of Corporate Marketing.
Apurva currently sits on the Board of AVG Logistics Limited, which is listed on the NSE. He has also been a member of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd’s Investment Committee for Venture Debt and earlier served on the board of Network People Services Technologies Ltd., a banking and payment solutions company.
In addition, Apurva is a Charter Member at TiE Delhi-NCR, a top angel investor recognised in 2019–20, a Startup20 Co-Chair during India’s G20 presidency, and the author of 2 business books.
His appointment supports Nucleus Software’s strategy to expand its AI-led, cloud-native lending and transaction banking platforms across global BFSI markets.
