A leadership transition at Customers Bank reflects the company’s focus on operational strength and long-term transformation. Wyremski brings more than 2 decades of experience in financial and operational leadership. He has managed complex finance functions and led enterprise transformation programs across the banking sector. He joined Customers Bank in 2024 as a strategic advisor and played an important role in speeding up the bank’s finance and data modernization efforts.

Before joining Customers Bank, Wyremski served as Chief Financial Officer of a New York-based commercial bank with over $100 billion in assets. In that role, he managed enterprise-wide finance functions. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 10 years at KPMG in New York City, most recently as Senior Manager in the banking audit practice. His professional background also includes finance roles at American International Group (AIG) and Veeco.
Wyremski holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Boston College. He brings strong knowledge of the regulatory and strategic environment required in today’s banking industry. He has been a licensed certified public accountant for nearly 2 decades.
