A strategic leadership move at Symphony Limited signals a sharper focus on brand growth and consumer engagement in India and global markets.
In his new role, Gaurav will lead overall marketing strategy, brand direction, consumer engagement, and go-to-market programs as the company strengthens its market leadership across geographies.
Gaurav brings over 2 decades of experience in marketing leadership, brand strategy, GTM execution, customer experience, and growth-driven transformation. He is known for building strong consumer brands and scaling businesses across home improvement, real estate, and flooring categories.
Before joining Symphony Limited, Gaurav worked as a Freelance Consultant for close to 1 year, advising organizations on marketing strategy, branding, and growth acceleration.
Earlier, he spent over 2 years with Welspun Global Brands Ltd, where he handled senior roles across marketing and business operations. He first served as Head of Marketing, Domestic Business, and later as Head of Sales & Customer Service, Domestic Flooring, driving customer engagement, strengthening domestic growth, and leading execution at scale.
Prior to this, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Welspun Flooring for nearly 2 years. There, he led brand strategy, marketing transformation, and customer growth in a highly competitive consumer segment.
A key phase of his career was at Lodha Group, where he worked for about 3 years as Head of Marketing, Affordable & Mid-Income Business. In this role, he built customer-focused campaigns, improved demand generation, and aligned marketing strategy with the rapid expansion of housing and community projects.
Before Lodha Group, Gaurav spent over 12 years at Asian Paints, rising through roles such as Area Manager, Area Manager Project Sales – South India, Brand Manager, and Group Brand Manager. He developed strong expertise in brand management, consumer insights, product lifecycle management, distribution strategy, trade marketing, and new product development, contributing to some of India’s most respected brand and growth models.
Gaurav holds a PGDM in Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad), strengthening his foundation in strategic leadership, marketing excellence, and business transformation.
