In this role, she will lead recruitment strategy and talent acquisition delivery across the East zone, with a focus on improving hiring quality and building strong workforce pipelines. Goenka has been associated with ICICI Bank for over 7 years and has handled several senior human resources assignments during this period. Her elevation reflects the bank’s emphasis on strengthening recruitment leadership to support growth and operational needs in the region.
Before taking on this role, she served in multiple HR leadership positions at ICICI Bank, including Senior Human Resources Manager and Chief Manager – Human Resources. In these roles, she led Employee Relations for the East Zone and worked with the POSH and Associate Leadership HR teams. Her responsibilities included managing workforce issues, strengthening compliance processes, and supporting leadership development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Goenka worked with ZS, ABB, VSA Print Solutions, Cummins India Ltd, and Tata Housing Development Company Limited. Across these organisations, she built experience in business operations, human resources, organisation development processes, and social responsibility programmes.
In her new assignment, Goenka will oversee end-to-end hiring for the East zone. This includes workforce planning, recruitment execution, and alignment of talent strategy with business goals. Her role will also involve strengthening employer branding and ensuring consistent hiring standards across locations.
The appointment highlights ICICI Bank’s continued investment in structured talent acquisition and leadership-led recruitment models. With her experience across HR operations and employee relations, Goenka is expected to play a key role in building future-ready teams in the region.
