Lakshminarayanan brings over 3 decades of international management experience. His background spans multinational corporations, B2B enterprises, start-ups, and Indian businesses, positioning him to steer Tata Communications into its next phase of growth and transformation.
Before joining Tata Communications, he served as Managing Director and Group Vice President for ServiceNow India and SAARC, where he led regional market expansion. Earlier, he was CEO of Airtel Business in India and CEO of Airtel’s Enterprise Business. During this period, the business delivered 50% growth over 3 years, gained market share, and won the Chairman’s Award for Best Business Unit in FY23.
On the education front, Lakshminarayanan holds an MBA with high distinction from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from Guindy Engineering College, Chennai.
He is also actively engaged with the wider industry ecosystem. His roles include serving on the NASSCOM and FICCI councils, and being a founding member of Social Venture Partners Bengaluru.
