Unilever International welcomes Srinandan Sundaram as new CEO

Announced by Hindustan Unilever, his appointment marks a major step in the company’s global leadership plans. Sundaram has spent more than twenty four years with Unilever, holding several senior roles during his career. He most recently served as Executive Director at HUL, where he led the Home Care business across South Asia.

Before that, Sundaram headed the Foods and Refreshments Division for South Asia and held key positions including Executive Director for Customer Development and Vice President for Skin Care. His long association with the organisation has given him deep experience across categories, regions and consumer segments.

Sundaram’s leadership journey spans multiple markets such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Over the years, he has handled responsibilities in profit and loss leadership, brand building, customer development and business expansion. These experiences place him in a strong position as he steps into the global CEO role at Unilever International.

As Sundaram takes on this new mandate, his strategic understanding of diverse markets and consumer needs is expected to support the company’s next phase of worldwide growth.
