Timothy Sandage brings with him extensive experience in security leadership, cloud strategy and global compliance. In this role, he will guide the company’s growth efforts, expand its market presence, and support wider adoption of the SPARC360 platform. He will also lead go to market initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen the company’s reach across defence, financial services, healthcare, and public sector markets.
Before joining SecureIT, Timothy served as Head of the AWS Global Security and Compliance Acceleration Program at Amazon Web Services, where he spent nearly thirteen years in vital roles across security, compliance, and partner enablement. His leadership included designing and expanding the ATO on AWS program, which supported more than six thousand partners around the world and played a major part in increasing cloud adoption in regulated industries.
Timothy also served as Senior Manager for Security Partners at AWS, where he worked closely with technology partners to create joint strategies and support the launch of the first ATO on AWS program with thirty founding partners. In an earlier position as Senior Risk and Compliance Strategist at AWS, he contributed to global regulatory alignment, developed important compliance publications, and led security training programs in different regions.
Earlier in his career, Timothy worked as Senior Specialist Manager for Enterprise Risk Services at a global consulting firm, advising major companies in technology and aviation. His work supported the development of national cloud security practices and strengthened industry understanding of compliance and risk management.
Before entering the consulting and cloud sectors, Timothy built a notable twenty five year career in the United States Air Force, retiring as First Sergeant. He held senior leadership roles across security forces, information assurance, cyber operations, and combat missions. He managed cybersecurity operations across seventeen states, trained more than nineteen hundred personnel, and contributed to security operations supporting national air defence missions. These experiences laid the foundation for his current leadership approach in global security and growth strategy.
