Rajasthan launches GCC Policy 2025 to create 1.5 lakh jobs by 2030

The Rajasthan government has approved the Global Capability Center Policy 2025, aiming to position the state as an important hub for global technology and business services.

Focus on expanding GCC presence

The new policy sets a target of building more than two hundred Global Capability Centers in the state by 2030. This expansion is expected to create jobs for nearly one and a half lakh professionals. The government believes this will strengthen Rajasthan’s knowledge economy and draw multinational companies to invest in information technology, business process services, and research and development.

Key cities identified as GCC clusters

Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur have been identified as major GCC hubs. These cities will receive focused development to build strong infrastructure, ensure global business standards, and support large scale operations.

Government support for companies

The state will offer several incentives to attract organisations that want to set up GCCs. These incentives include subsidies and financial support for establishing and running centres. The government will also ensure infrastructure support such as office spaces, strong connectivity, and essential utilities. A single window clearance system will help improve ease of doing business.

Industry Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that the policy strengthens Rajasthan’s position as a competitive global investment destination and will support economic growth, technology advancement, and job creation.

Impact on the state’s economy

The GCC Policy 2025 is part of Rajasthan’s wider plan to promote knowledge driven employment and expand its role in the global IT and business services sector. By encouraging innovation and collaboration, the government aims to attract international companies and skilled talent while building a sustainable economic ecosystem.
