In a boost to its growth plans, Xovian Aerospace has secured $2M in a strategic investment round led by Ashish Kacholia.
The Bengaluru-based startup had earlier raised $2.5M in a pre-seed round led by Piper Serica and TurboStart, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures and Eaglewings Ventures in August last year.
According to the company, the new funding will be used to support satellite development, expand its engineering and AI teams, and strengthen commercial partnerships.
Founded in 2019 by Ankit Bhateja and Raghav Sharma, Xovian Aerospace is building AI-powered RF satellite infrastructure. Its platform captures and analyzes radio frequency signals from space to generate real-time, actionable intelligence.
The company’s technology enables predictive insights across sectors such as climate, defense, aviation, maritime, and infrastructure. Unlike traditional satellite systems that rely on optical data, its RF-based approach can detect hidden or obscured activity by decoding dynamic signals into decision-ready intelligence.
With rising climate risks and geopolitical uncertainties, Xovian Aerospace aims to address the limitations of existing satellite systems by using the underutilized RF spectrum. Its platform combines GEOINT and SIGINT to provide real-time situational awareness, asset monitoring, and predictive insights for governments, enterprises, and humanitarian organizations.
Other startups operating in this space include OrbitAid, InspeCity, and Sisir Radar.
