In a move to engage young talent in real-world digital projects, the Unique Identification Authority of India has announced internship openings at its Technology Centre in Bengaluru.
The opportunity was shared through an official post, inviting students and eligible candidates to apply across multiple domains. The initiative aims to provide hands-on exposure to projects within UIDAI’s technology ecosystem.
Interested applicants can apply until April 15, 2026. Candidates are required to submit their applications by scanning the QR code mentioned in the official notice or by visiting UIDAI’s website for detailed instructions. The authority has also released a link to its internship policy document, which outlines eligibility, duration, and selection criteria.
The internship offers an “attractive stipend,” although the exact amount has not been disclosed. UIDAI has stated that the number of available positions may vary depending on departmental requirements.
The roles are expected to span several areas, including technology, data, and governance-related functions, aligned with UIDAI’s operational needs.
The program will be conducted at the Bengaluru Technology Centre, which manages critical aspects of Aadhaar infrastructure and serves as a central hub for India’s digital identity systems.
Selected candidates may get the opportunity to work on projects related to large-scale identity systems, data management, and digital services, gaining practical experience in one of the country’s key technology-driven public platforms.
