The Government of Tamil Nadu, through Guidance Tamil Nadu, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ANSR to boost the expansion of Global Capability Centres in the State. The agreement was announced on Thursday and aims to strengthen Tamil Nadu’s position as a major global hub for technology, innovation and high value services.
ANSR has set up more than two hundred Global Capability Centres and supported the hiring of over two lakh professionals worldwide. The organisation brings close to twenty years of experience in enterprise capability building. Its expertise covers AI engineering, cybersecurity, digital commerce, product development, research and development, data science and enterprise operations.
Thiru TRB Rajaa, Minister for Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce, said that the partnership would help Tamil Nadu attract the next wave of global corporations. He stated that the State would back the growth of GCCs by offering policy support, quick clearances, site selection assistance and strong talent linkages.
ANSR Founder and Chief Executive Officer Lalit Ahuja said that Tamil Nadu has all the essential elements needed to become the most competitive GCC location in the world. He pointed to the State’s talent strength, infrastructure, governance and innovation ecosystem.
According to the release, the collaboration is expected to bring fresh investments, create high value jobs and build advanced innovation capabilities across Tamil Nadu.
