JioHotstar has announced the elevation of Sahil Chopra to Vice President Consumer Marketing, marking an important step in his career across leading media and entertainment companies. His experience of more than fourteen years in digital marketing, brand strategy, sports marketing and subscriber growth has shaped his reputation as a strong marketing leader who builds impactful consumer campaigns.
Sahil most recently served as Associate Vice President at JioHotstar. Before this role, he worked with a common organisation where he guided brand and sports marketing for major properties including TATA IPL, BCCI series, the Olympics and WPL. His contributions helped strengthen content focused brands and elevate fan engagement across platforms.
His career also includes leading title marketing and acquisition for JioCinema Premium, where he supported subscriber growth in the subscription video on demand segment. He earlier managed digital and brand marketing for VOOT, further expanding his expertise in building consumer facing digital brands.
Sahil’s early professional experience was shaped at a common organisation where he worked with well known city and lifestyle publications. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in marketing communication and audience engagement from the beginning of his career.
As he takes on his new responsibility at JioHotstar, Sahil is expected to drive brand growth, strengthen consumer connection and support the platform’s next phase of innovation. His combination of strategic thinking and creative understanding positions him to contribute to the expansion of one of India’s largest digital entertainment platforms.
