Rajneet Kohli Steps Down as Britannia Industries CEO

Britannia Industries has announced that Rajneet Singh Kohli, its current Chief Executive Officer, will be stepping down from his role effective March 14, 2025. The company shared the news on March 6, confirming that Kohli’s resignation is due to his decision to “pursue an opportunity” outside of Britannia.

“The Board of Directors of the Company vide Circular Resolution passed today i.e., 6th March, 2025 has noted the resignation of Mr. Rajneet Singh Kohli and he shall be relieved from the services of the Company w.e.f close of business hours on 14th March, 2025,” the company stated in an official announcement.

Kohli took charge as CEO of Britannia in September 2022 and has since contributed significantly to the company’s growth. Before his tenure at Britannia, Kohli held leadership roles at several prominent companies, including Domino’s India, which is managed by Jubilant Foodworks, Asian Paints, and Coca-Cola Co.

Under Kohli’s leadership, Britannia performed well, surpassing third-quarter profit expectations in February. This was largely driven by strategic price hikes and a notable rebound in demand from rural markets.

Britannia Industries is now focused on the transition as Kohli prepares for his next professional chapter.
