Nothing to launch Phone (3a) Lite in India on 27 November

Nothing has confirmed that its most affordable smartphone yet, the Phone 3a Lite, will launch in India on 27 November. The device arrives after its global introduction last month and is aimed at buyers who want a stylish phone with a clean software experience at a lower price.

The Phone 3a Lite is positioned as Nothing’s most budget friendly option outside of its CMF range. Market experts expect the starting price to stay well below the 24000 rupees mark. With this pricing strategy, the phone will compete directly with popular mid range models in the Indian market.

The device carries the brand’s familiar transparent design but removes the complex Glyph Interface found on higher models. Instead, it includes a single basic Glyph light. The phone is expected to come in black and white colour options.

Final details for the Indian model are yet to be confirmed, but it is likely to match the global variant. This includes the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset and 8GB of RAM. The phone is expected to feature a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The display is likely to be a 6.77 inch FHD plus Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the Phone 3a Lite is expected to offer a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor.

The software experience will come through Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15. The company has promised three years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. However, the device will include pre installed apps such as Instagram and Facebook. These apps can be removed, although the decision marks a shift for the brand which has been known for its clean interface.

More details, including final pricing and availability for India, will be announced at the launch event on 27 November.
