Hikvision launches new energy saving active LED display range for businesses in India

Hikvision India has launched a new range of LED display modules for commercial use. These displays are built using in-house manufacturing and proprietary technology. They are designed for a wide range of environments, including retail spaces, shopping malls, indoor large screens, billboards, and building facades. With this launch, the company aims to offer improved commercial display solutions through global scale and constant innovation.

The new portfolio includes Regular, Soft, and Cut edge LED modules, each created for different business requirements. Hikvision’s commercial display division has built a strong global presence, operating in more than 150 countries. The company ranks among the top three in the fine pitch LED segment worldwide. Between 2017 and 2022, it recorded a compound growth of 64 percent and crossed 350 million dollars in LED sales.

The company has also invested in research and development. In 2023, it introduced a new algorithm that reduces power consumption by more than 20 percent. All LED displays are supported by Hikvision’s self-developed control system, which ensures smooth performance and simple operation. The products also undergo full cycle quality control and testing to ensure durability and high visual quality.

Since entering the LED market in 2013, Hikvision has become one of the leading global players in fine pitch LED technology. The company has delivered major projects using P1.2 displays and introduced micro pitch P0.7 and P0.9 solutions, setting new standards for clarity and reliability.

The Regular LED modules are available for both indoor and outdoor use. Indoor pixel pitches range from P1.2 to P3.0, while outdoor options range from P2.5 to P10. These modules are designed for easy maintenance. They feature a standard 320×160 mm size with uniform screw holes, which allows businesses to replace modules with different pixel pitches without replacing the cabinet. They also include a PWM energy saving driver IC with up to 64 levels of brightness control. The modules use lead free solder paste and have a reinforced bottom shell for strength and flatness.

For creative display installations, the company offers Soft and Cut edge LED modules. The Soft modules can bend up to 120 degrees, making them suitable for cylindrical or curved screens. The Cut edge modules are built for right angle installations, allowing seamless splicing from 90 to 180 degrees without extra cutting. Outdoor versions come with IP65 protection, using a sealed structure and glue feed technology to ensure resistance to water and dust.
