In this role, he will lead both strategic and operational HR priorities to support Carrier’s continued growth and expansion in the India region. His mandate spans manufacturing, the HVACR business, and one of Carrier’s largest global hubs operating from India, enabling innovation and critical capabilities across digital, business services, supply chain, and engineering.
Subhajit brings over 15 years of diverse HR leadership experience across regional and global roles within Carrier. Prior to joining Carrier, he spent nine years with Coca‑Cola, building a strong foundation in HR leadership. He returns to India after a decade in Singapore, where he most recently led HR for Carrier’s Global Container business and also served as the Asia Pacific Talent and Talent Acquisition Leader.
An alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Subhajit combines strong academic grounding with deep business acumen and a nuanced understanding of the India market. He is passionate about shaping high‑performance cultures and enhancing employee experience, and has consistently driven talent transformation, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness aligned with evolving business needs. He also champions the role of technology as a key enabler of modern HR and employee experience.
In his new role, Subhajit will focus on advancing Carrier’s talent and culture agenda to power the company’s next phase of growth in India.
