Castrol India welcomes Mayank Pandey as Vice President and Head B2C Sales

One of the country’s leading lubricant brands and a subsidiary of bp, the company gains a seasoned leader with more than twenty five years of experience across bp, Castrol, Asian Paints, Tata Strategic Management Group and Larsen and Toubro. He brings strong strategic, operational and transformation expertise to his new role.

In this position, Mayank Pandey will guide B2C sales strategy, strengthen market share and deepen consumer engagement across Castrol’s retail and distribution channels. His appointment highlights the company’s focus on customer centred growth, digital capability and sustainability within the evolving lubricants sector.

Before taking on this role, Mayank served as Vice President C and P Business and Technology Centre at bp. He led enterprise transformation programs and contributed to the establishment of bp’s global capability centre in India. His international responsibilities at bp included roles such as Planning Manager Europe, Transformation Director BP Lubricants China and North Asia and Head of North Asia Supply Chain. In these positions he oversaw major operational transformation efforts and multi country supply chain initiatives.

At Castrol Mayank has previously held several strategic leadership roles including Vice President Supply Chain for India and South Asia and Board Member at Castrol India. Mayank played a key role in strengthening ESG governance, advancing supply chain digitisation and enhancing competitive strategy.

Earlier in his career Mayank gained strong experience in manufacturing, procurement, logistics and strategic consulting through roles at Asian Paints, Tata Strategic Management Group and Larsen and Toubro. These experiences provided him with a comprehensive understanding of end to end business operations.
