Global software company UiPath has strengthened its presence in India with the opening of a new facility in Bengaluru. The new office spans 25,599 square feet and will function as an innovation hub for the company’s product and engineering teams, which currently contribute almost a quarter of UiPath’s global research and development efforts.
The workspace is located at Embassy Tech Village Onyx and is built to support collaboration among teams working in product, engineering, user experience design, and site reliability engineering.
Gautam Goenka, SVP of Engineering and Site Head at UiPath, said, “India is home to one of the largest UiPath developer communities globally, and our teams here play a crucial role in building and testing technologies that power our platform. This new Bangalore office provides the space and environment our developers need to collaborate, experiment, and create solutions that deliver meaningful impact for customers worldwide.”
According to the company, these teams will work closely with UiPath development centres in India, Europe, and the United States to enhance capabilities across the UiPath Platform.
Raghu Malpani, Chief Technology Officer at UiPath, said, “Our operations in India continue to expand at an annual rate of 15 to 20 per cent, reflecting the country’s growing role in our global strategy. The India team is a major contributor to our product and technology efforts, creating solutions here that are used by enterprises worldwide.”
The new centre will focus on advancing technologies such as UiPath Maestro, Data Fabric with Ontology support, UiPath Test Cloud, low code and pro code app development, and Human in the Loop experiences through UiPath Action Center.
