Adobe and YouTube partner to launch ‘Create for YouTube Shorts’ in Premiere Mobile

Adobe and YouTube have joined forces to launch a new initiative designed to help creators produce engaging short-form video content. The collaboration introduces Create for YouTube Shorts, a dedicated content creation space coming soon to Adobe Premiere Mobile. This feature combines Adobe’s advanced editing tools with YouTube Shorts’ rapidly expanding platform.

The integration will allow millions of YouTube creators to access professional video editing tools directly within Premiere Mobile. They will be able to edit and publish Shorts efficiently, save and customise templates, and share them to inspire new trends and storytelling formats. The feature can also be accessed through YouTube Shorts via the “Edit in Adobe Premiere” option.

With this partnership, creators can produce visually appealing videos faster, explore trending formats, and reach wider audiences. The content creation hub will include exclusive effects, transitions, templates, and title presets to make Shorts more dynamic and polished. Creators will also have the flexibility to use ready-made templates or design their own for quick and high-quality video production.

Scott Silver, Vice President of Engineering at YouTube, said, “Our goal at YouTube is to meet creators where they are and give everyone the tools they need to make storytelling easier and connect with their audiences. This partnership with Adobe will give creators more choice and access to advanced editing tools, unlocking new ways for them to connect with viewers and reach global audiences.”

The new feature aims to simplify the editing process for creators and enhance content quality across YouTube Shorts, supporting the platform’s growing community of storytellers worldwide.
