Wipro signs multi-year deal with HanesBrands to drive AI-led digital transformation

IT major Wipro has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with HanesBrands Inc to modernise the apparel company’s IT infrastructure and strengthen its cybersecurity operations using an AI-first approach.

Under the agreement, Wipro will deploy its WINGS Operations AI platform, part of the Wipro Intelligence suite of AI-driven platforms and solutions, to streamline operations, enhance compliance, and improve the overall IT experience for HanesBrands’ customers, suppliers, and employees, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The collaboration will also see Wipro bolstering HanesBrands’ security systems by implementing AI-driven predictive and preventive measures, supported by automated security workflows designed to speed up incident detection and resolution. These enhancements aim to ensure greater operational stability, maintain regulatory compliance, and minimise business disruptions.

Shiva Jayaraman, Senior Vice President and Sector Head for Consumer Business, Americas 1 at Wipro, said, “Continuing our ongoing relationship, this new engagement will allow us to bring the Wipro Intelligence TM suite to HanesBrands, increasing their operational agility and resilience through AI-powered platforms, solutions and transformative offerings. Ultimately, Wipro’s consulting-led, AI-powered approach will drive accelerated innovation in operations, enabling HanesBrands to unlock new value and new growth opportunities.”

As part of the engagement, HanesBrands will also gain access to the Wipro Innovation Network, which includes Wipro’s Innovation Labs, AI-native companies, Wipro Ventures, academic collaborators, and technology partners.

The partnership reflects Wipro’s growing focus on embedding artificial intelligence across business operations to deliver smarter, faster, and more secure digital ecosystems. For HanesBrands, the move represents a key step in building a more resilient and adaptive technology framework to support its long-term growth and innovation goals.
