Kumar brings nearly twenty years of leadership experience from Axis Bank, where he held several senior roles across wholesale banking operations, process design, and risk management. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and zonal head for South 2, leading wholesale banking operations with an emphasis on strategic process alignment and risk governance.
Before that, Kumar held the position of senior vice president I and head of process design and solutions, where he played a vital role in driving operational transformation and improving efficiency across corporate functions. His earlier roles at Axis Bank included vice president and head of process design and solutions, assistant vice president in corporate banking operations, and manager in general banking operations. Over his nineteen-year career at Axis Bank, he earned recognition for his expertise in credit operations, risk management, SME banking, and process innovation.
Kumar began his professional journey as a commercial controller trainee at Madras Aluminium Company Limited, where he gained valuable experience in financial control and business operations.
With a strong background in banking and operations, Kumar’s appointment marks a significant step in Axis Trustee Services Limited’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and customer-centric growth.
