Yasmeen Shaikh appointed Head of Human Resources at Lumen Technologies India

Lumen Technologies India, a global leader in digital networking and cloud communication services, has appointed Yasmeen Shaikh as its new Head of Human Resources. In this role, Yasmeen will lead the company’s people and culture strategy in India, focusing on employee engagement, talent transformation, and organisational growth while supporting Lumen’s mission to redefine digital connectivity through human-centered innovation.

Yasmeen brings over twenty years of HR leadership experience across major global organisations, including NextGen Healthcare, Infosys, and Informatica. She is recognised for building people-first cultures, driving transformation, and championing diversity and inclusion. Her empathetic leadership and data-driven HR approach have consistently delivered measurable business impact through organisational effectiveness, culture-building, and talent engagement programs.

Before joining Lumen Technologies, Yasmeen was Vice President of Human Resources at NextGen Healthcare India, where she co-led the company’s post-acquisition transformation. She successfully integrated global HCM systems from Darwinbox and ADP to Workday, aligned teams across geographies, and enhanced collaboration and innovation. Her initiatives in employee engagement and remote work enablement helped strengthen NextGen’s position as a top employer in digital healthcare technology.

Earlier, she served as Director of Human Resources, India at Informatica, managing HR operations for over 1,000 employees across R&D, professional services, and customer support. She also acted as a Global HR Business Partner, leading transformation initiatives in performance management, compensation, and leadership development, and played a key role in redefining company values during Informatica’s rebranding.

Yasmeen began her career at Infosys Technologies Ltd., rising to Senior Manager – HR for Finacle, overseeing HR operations for 8,000 employees across 77 countries. She implemented global career frameworks, attrition control measures, workforce deployment strategies, and alumni engagement programs, delivering significant cost savings and improving retention.

A postgraduate in Human Resources Development from the Mount Carmel Institute of Management, Yasmeen also started her HR journey at Ivega and is an international badminton champion, having won gold at the All England Senior Badminton Championship in 2024.
