Phronetic.AI, India’s first full-stack Agentic AI platform backed by Infibeam Avenues Ltd, has announced the launch of PayCentral.ai, the country’s first Agentic Payment Platform that enables AI agents to transact on behalf of merchants and enterprises.
Designed as an intelligent payment infrastructure layer, PayCentral.ai integrates seamlessly with existing payment gateways and platforms. It empowers merchant networks to deliver faster, automated, and intelligent payment experiences. The PayCentral.ai platform marks a major step forward in advancing Agent-to-Agent (A2A) payments.
Built on Google’s AP2 (Agent Payment Protocol), PayCentral.ai sits on top of multiple Payment Aggregators’ Merchant Control Panels (MCPs), forming a unified layer for autonomous, auditable, and secure payment orchestration. Through this system, merchants can allow AI agents to create payment links, manage refunds, handle subscriptions, and reconcile accounts — all without human intervention.
“Agentic Payments are the next frontier in digital commerce,” said Rajesh Kumar S A, CEO of Phronetic AI. “By integrating Google’s AP2 standards with MCPs of India’s leading payment aggregators and our Agent Operating System, we are building a secure, auditable and scalable ecosystem where any AI agent can pay, and any AI agent can be paid.”
With PayCentral.ai, Phronetic AI aims to redefine digital payments through autonomy, security, and seamless interoperability in the era of intelligent commerce.
