Maserati Launches MCPura Supercar in India with Coupe and Cielo Variants

Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has launched its latest supercar, the MCPura, in India. The model is available in two variants: the Coupe and the Cielo. The Coupe is priced at ₹4.12 crore, while the open-roof Cielo carries an ex-showroom price of ₹5.12 crore. Both variants are powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine and maintain the same mechanical specifications as their international versions.

The MCPura continues the design lineage of the MC20 but introduces refined styling. The grille now has a darker outline, the front splitter is reworked, and the air intakes below the headlamps are larger. The rear bumper also features subtle design improvements. Maserati collaborated with Dallara to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The Coupe variant comes with a matte finish, while the convertible Cielo has a glossy exterior.

In terms of branding, Maserati has added new touches. The Trident logo on the grille and C-pillar, MCPura lettering on the flanks, and the wheel centre caps now feature a magenta tone with blue mica elements. These MCPura details, along with glossy highlights on the Coupe and matte accents on the Cielo, create a more distinctive visual identity compared to the MC20.

Both versions are powered by the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine that generates 621 horsepower and 719–730 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, while the Cielo completes the sprint in 3.0 seconds. Both achieve a top speed of 325 km/h.

Inside, the MCPura mirrors the MC20’s layout but adds new design details. The seats feature laser-etched Alcantara upholstery with vertical stripes in red and blue tones. The dashboard includes a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and a three-spoke steering wheel with engine start/stop and paddle shifters. Carbon fibre accents are used throughout the cabin, with matte detailing in the Cielo and glossy finishes in the Coupe.

The MCPura replaces the MC20 in India after making its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year. While the car introduces subtle design updates and new paint options, its mechanical setup remains unchanged. The Cielo is also priced ₹19 lakh lower than the previous MC20 Cielo that was launched in May.
