L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a global leader in engineering research and development, has announced a partnership with Siemens Limited to accelerate AI-driven transformation in process engineering and smart manufacturing. The move marks an important step in LTTS’s strategy to strengthen its Sustainability segment, which includes process engineering, discrete manufacturing, and industrial products.
As part of the collaboration, Siemens’ flagship digital platforms TIA Portal, Industrial Edge, and Tecnomatix will be integrated with LTTS’s artificial intelligence and engineering expertise, according to a filing shared by the company.
Automating Industrial Processes
These platforms are widely used for automating industrial operations, simulating manufacturing lines, and enabling real-time data analysis. Together, LTTS and Siemens plan to deliver simulation-based automation and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions for sectors such as automotive, transportation, and plant engineering.
