Microsoft has announced the launch of its 12-inch Surface Pro Copilot Plus PC in India, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor. The device, which was introduced globally in May, will be available for purchase in India starting 6 October, with pre-orders open until 5 October across online and offline platforms including Amazon, Vijay Sales, and Croma.
The Surface Pro will be available in two configurations:

16GB RAM with 512GB storage priced at Rs 99,999
Customers who pre-order before 5 October will receive a complimentary Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard valued at Rs 15,199.
Microsoft describes the new model as the slimmest and lightest Copilot Plus PC yet, measuring 7.8mm in thickness and weighing 686 grams. It is equipped with a Neural Processing Unit capable of 45 trillion operations per second, enabling advanced AI-powered features such as Recall, Click to Do, and enhanced Windows Search.
The device features a 12-inch PixelSense LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 2196 x 1464, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits peak brightness. It promises up to 16 hours of local video playback. Charging is now supported exclusively through USB-C, with the Surface Connect port removed in this model.
The redesigned 12-inch Surface Pro Keyboard offered with pre-orders includes full-sized backlit keys, a matte palm rest, and a touchpad with Adaptive Touch Mode for improved accessibility and personalisation.
Other specifications include 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, storage options of 256GB and 512GB, a 10MP rear camera, a 1080p front-facing Surface Studio Camera, 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, dual studio microphones, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and two USB-C ports.
With its lightweight build, upgraded AI capabilities, and redesigned accessories, the new Surface Pro aims to strengthen Microsoft’s presence in the premium PC segment in India.
