As India implements its landmark GST reforms effective September 22, Amazon.in has unveiled a dedicated storefront, The Great Savings Celebration, #GSTBachatUtsav. The platform highlights products with GST savings across categories such as electronics, home appliances, fashion, healthcare, and daily essentials. The launch comes ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival (AGIF) 2025, starting September 23, with Prime members enjoying 24-hour early access beginning at midnight on September 22.
The #GSTBachatUtsav storefront features badges on products to indicate GST savings, making it easier for customers to spot deals. During Prime Early Access, badges will read “Prime Deal + GST Savings,” while during the main event, they will show “Deal with GST Savings.” In addition to GST benefits and Prime offers, customers can explore festive deals from sellers, No-Cost EMI via Amazon Pay Later, and up to 5% assured cashback* for Prime members through Amazon Pay Rewards Gold (terms apply).
Amazon has also introduced measures to support sellers in complying with the new GST rates. While sellers remain responsible for accurate GST rates and Product Tax Codes (PTCs), Amazon is providing tools, guidance, and automatic updates for select categories to help them apply GST reductions to eligible products. Masterclasses and resources have been provided to help sellers understand GST nuances, while retaining control over pricing.
The Great Indian Festival 2025 will feature over 1 lakh products and more than 30,000 new launches from leading brands including Samsung, Apple, Intel, Titan, Libas, and L’Oréal.
Customers can also enjoy additional discounts such as 10% instant savings on SBI credit and debit cards, exclusive bank offers, and unlimited cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card. The Navratri and Dussehra store features festive décor, electronics, and essentials at up to 50% off.
The launch of #GSTBachatUtsav allows shoppers to maximize savings while celebrating the festive season with exclusive deals, GST benefits, and a wide selection of products.
