Hitachi Vantara Federal, a leading provider of mission-focused data solutions for the United States Federal Government, has announced the appointment of Majed Saadi as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he will define the company’s technology vision, drive innovation and deliver mission-ready solutions that enable Federal agencies to harness data for advancing critical operations.
Majed brings extensive experience in federal technology leadership. He joins the company from Synergy, where he served as Vice President for Growth and Technology, guiding organisational expansion, technology strategy and C-level initiatives. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Business Area for Commerce, Labor, Interior and Postal programmes at General Dynamics Information Technology, where he oversaw mission-critical federal projects for nearly five years.
He has also supported the development of emerging technologies as an Advisory Board Member at Quantum Computing, Inc., where he contributed to advancing the use of quantum and quantum-ready solutions for complex challenges. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Technology Officer at Govplace, where his leadership helped the firm earn recognition among the “20 Most Promising Cloud Solution Providers” by an industry publication.
Majed’s career also includes key leadership roles at SRA International, where he advanced from Director of the Cloud Computing Practice to Chief Technology Officer for Civilian Agencies. During this time, he introduced innovative cloud services that strengthened cybersecurity and compliance for federal organisations. His earlier experience includes roles at QinetiQ North America as Manager of Engineering Infrastructure, at 3H Technology as Consulting Services Manager, and at the General Services Administration as a Senior Network Engineer.
He holds a Master’s degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia, providing a strong foundation in aligning business strategies with digital transformation.
With his extensive background across federal technology, cybersecurity and cloud innovation, Majed Saadi is expected to play a central role in advancing Hitachi Vantara Federal’s mission to deliver secure, data-driven solutions for government agencies.
