Arnab Biswas Appointed as Chief Information Security Officer at BOBCARD

BOBCARD has appointed Arnab Biswas as its new Chief Information Security Officer, bringing with him vast experience in enterprise information and cyber security across leading financial institutions in India. In this role, he will lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy with a focus on risk management, data protection, and advanced threat mitigation.

Before joining BOBCARD, Arnab served as Chief Information Security Officer at Axis Direct and Tata Payments Limited, where he managed regulatory compliance, cloud security, threat intelligence, and enterprise risk management. He has strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, SIEM, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and offensive security, consistently driving innovation and enhancing organisational resilience.

Arnab’s career began with ICICI Bank and Tata Consultancy Services, where he built his foundation in threat hunting, red teaming, and developing security data lakes. He went on to hold senior roles at Tata Digital and Protiviti. He also took a sabbatical to pursue documentary photography under the mentorship of Raghu Rai, adding a unique dimension to his professional journey.

At BOBCARD, Arnab will work towards strengthening the company’s security framework by integrating advanced technologies and global best practices, ensuring a safe and secure digital environment for all stakeholders.
