Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis has confirmed that the company will open its first flagship retail store in India later this year. Sharing the update on X, Evangelidis also revealed that Nothing’s sub-brand CMF will set up its global headquarters in India.
The upcoming flagship outlet will follow the format of Apple’s retail stores in cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru, offering customers an immersive brand experience. At the store, consumers will be able to explore the latest products first-hand and interact with in-store experts for technical guidance.
Nothing has been steadily building its presence in India. The company not only manufactures the Phone 3 locally but also exports it to international markets. This makes it possible for someone in London to own a Nothing Phone that was produced in India.
Highlighting India’s growing role in shaping the global consumer technology landscape, Evangelidis said in his post, “The story of the next decade of consumer technology is being written here (in India) and we’re (Nothing and CMF) excited to be part of it.”
