Jio Haptik Launches Affordable AI Agents to Empower India’s Small Businesses

Reliance’s Jio Haptik has introduced enterprise-level AI agents at an entry price of ₹10,000 for 2,000 conversations, aiming to make artificial intelligence accessible to small and medium businesses in India.

The service is designed for sectors such as small clinics, educational institutes and real estate firms. It combines WhatsApp and voice-based AI to automate key business tasks including customer support, bookings and lead qualification.

Explaining the impact of the solution, Ahshad Jussawala, CEO of Haptik, said, “Early adopters are already seeing up to 80% of their repetitive customer support queries resolved automatically, along with a 20-25% increase in lead-to-sale conversions.”

With conversation costs ranging between ₹3 and ₹5, the offering is nearly half the expense of hiring a human agent, making it a cost-effective option for small businesses.

The AI agents support 22 Indian languages and follow enterprise-grade security standards. They are being deployed through Jio Haptik’s Interakt platform, which already serves more than 50,000 small and medium businesses.

Jio Haptik’s spokesperson explained, “For an entry price of ₹10,000 covering 2,000 AI-powered conversations, SMBs can achieve significant savings compared to employing human agents. In many cases, businesses can save 50% or more on customer support expenses.”

Several enterprises have already adopted the technology, including Re’equil, Pantheon Development and Aster Hospitals in the UAE. At the same time, Jio Haptik continues to support large clients such as Jio, CRED, Ola, PVR, Adani Group, Zepto, Unilever, HP and Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, reinforcing its position as a leader in conversational AI solutions across business segments.
