Hemant Verma has taken charge as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Punjab & Sind Bank. Along with this key role, he will also serve as CVO for the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) and the India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL).
Verma brings with him over 17 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong background in governance, vigilance, and compliance.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), adding to his expertise in technology and risk management.
His appointment is expected to strengthen vigilance frameworks and reinforce compliance mechanisms across the institutions under his charge.
