Josh Foley Appointed as Chief Executive Officer at RedPeak

RedPeak, Denver’s leading multifamily owner, developer, and manager, has announced the appointment of Josh Foley as its new Chief Executive Officer after an extensive national search. The process was conducted by RedPeak’s managing board in collaboration with Ferguson Partners.

This transition comes as Mark Windhager, RedPeak’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, retires after 25 years of building the company from the ground up. Since its founding in 2001, RedPeak has expanded into a portfolio of more than 50 communities, serving over 5,000 residents. Windhager will remain with the company for a short period as Senior Advisor to support the transition.

“After an extended search, Foley stood out for his exceptional operational expertise in managing large portfolios and his proven ability to build strong, lasting teams,” said Windhager. “I’m confident he’s the right leader to take RedPeak to new heights while honoring our core values.”

Foley brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in California’s most competitive real estate markets, having served in senior roles at The Irvine Company and Essex Property Trust. Throughout his career, he has prioritised creating environments where both employees and residents choose to stay, with a strong focus on genuine service and long-term relationships.

“What drew me to RedPeak was seeing how Mark and this team built something truly authentic,” said Foley. “This isn’t just about managing properties—it’s about creating places where people thrive. I’m honored to carry forward this legacy and lead such a remarkable organization.”

Foley is a graduate with an MBA from Pepperdine University and has always been committed to community engagement. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and skiing. He has also supported organisations addressing homelessness, gaining direct understanding of how quality housing can change lives.

Under his leadership, RedPeak will continue to put people first—residents, employees, and community partners—while setting new benchmarks in Denver’s evolving multifamily housing sector.
