TrusTerra Launches India’s First AI-Powered Used EV Resale Platform

Tanvir Singh, co-founder of Mooving, has launched TrusTerra, India’s first artificial intelligence-powered platform dedicated to used electric vehicle resale. He is joined by co-founders Saurabh Arora, Madhu Reddy, and Chanakya Agarwal.

India’s electric vehicle sector is expected to cross 10 million annual sales by 2030. However, resale penetration currently stands below 2 percent, leaving a significant market gap. TrusTerra aims to address this challenge by bringing trust, transparency, and standardisation to the used EV segment.

“Used EVs are not a side market, they are the market,” said Singh. “For India to electrify affordably, a trusted resale backbone is critical. We are building that backbone to ensure every EV owner can unlock fair value, every dealer can trade with confidence, and every buyer can purchase with trust.”

Supporting this vision, Avinash Sharma, Founder of ElectricPe, stated, “TrusTerra’s AI-backed approach with the TruEV Score™ has the potential to unlock both consumer and dealer confidence, and will play an important role in strengthening the EV ecosystem.”

At the heart of TrusTerra is the TruEV Score™, a proprietary artificial intelligence valuation framework. It evaluates key factors such as battery health, range consistency, and remaining useful life, similar to how a credit score works for individuals. Alongside this, TerraCash™ offers instant diagnostics and liquidity with payments completed within 24 hours, while TerraBid™ provides certified dealer auctions with financing, warranties, and assured buyback options.

The company has started operations in Delhi NCR and plans to expand to Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad. Supported by partnerships with original equipment manufacturers, banks, non-banking financial companies, and insurers, TrusTerra has set its sights on enabling one million pre-owned EV transactions and achieving a ₹500 crore market capitalisation within its first two years.

The launch positions TrusTerra as a crucial player in shaping India’s electric mobility future by creating a reliable backbone for the resale market.
