Capgemini has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C Services, a Singapore-based company that provides automation-driven managed services for hybrid and sovereign cloud environments.
Established in 2014, Cloud4C has a workforce of around 1,600 employees. The company focuses on AI operations, automation capabilities, and hyper-automated AI cloud operations across the technology stack. It also delivers important services such as disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and compliance across industries.
The acquisition, which still requires regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed in the coming months.
Sharing his views on the deal, Aiman Ezzat, chief executive officer of Capgemini, said, “Cloud4C has an impressive track record in large-scale cloud transformations, thanks to its cutting-edge, highly automated AI platform and processes. Its status as a global premium partner of RISE with SAP makes it a natural fit for Capgemini… This acquisition will enable the group to champion GenAI-powered cloud automation platforms, coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions that we know our clients want and need across the world.”
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, chairman and managing director of Cloud4C, described the development as “an exciting next chapter, enabling us to scale our cloud migration and management frameworks more efficiently.”
Capgemini stated that this acquisition will broaden its presence in the rapidly growing cloud managed services sector. It will also help strengthen its leadership in SAP solutions while creating opportunities to cross-sell services across the client networks of both organisations.
The move reflects Capgemini’s continued push to expand its cloud and AI-driven offerings at a time when enterprises worldwide are increasingly demanding innovative solutions to enhance digital transformation, security, and operational efficiency.
