Alvarez & Marsal India has appointed Dev Ramchandani as Executive Director in its Business Transformation Services practice. He will be based in Pune and will lead the firm’s efforts to strengthen industrial transformation and operations advisory solutions, with a clear focus on manufacturing-led industries.
In this role, Ramchandani will be responsible for expanding A&M’s expertise in operational technology and information technology integration, digital operations, and lean performance. He will drive measurable outcomes for clients facing complex challenges in industries including automotive, metals and mining, healthcare and life sciences, and chemicals.
With over twenty years of experience, Ramchandani has led large-scale transformation programmes that align with organisational vision and strategy. He is recognised for linking manufacturing operations with advanced digital solutions, bringing a unique operational and technology perspective to business transformation.
Before joining Alvarez & Marsal, he held senior roles at Tata Motors, McKinsey & Company, and Hitachi. In these positions, he led critical transformation projects both at the factory level and across enterprises, focusing on operational excellence, lean practices, and industrial digitalisation.
