Apple is set to expand its retail presence in India with the opening of a new store in Pune on 4 September. The outlet, named Apple Koregaon Park, will be the company’s fourth retail store in the country. The announcement comes just days before the expected launch of the iPhone 17 series.
While the official launch date of the iPhone 17 lineup has not been disclosed, reports suggest that Apple could announce it around 9 September, with sales beginning in the third week of September. The new devices are expected to ship with iOS 26.
At Apple Koregaon Park, customers will be able to explore the full range of Apple products including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watch and more. The store will also offer expert support through Apple’s team of Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses and dedicated Business teams.
Apple has revealed the store’s barricade design, which features vibrant peacock-inspired feathers similar to its Bengaluru outlet. The company said the design celebrates the peacock as India’s national bird and as a symbol of pride.
In a statement about the upcoming launch, Apple said, “At Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park, customers will be able to explore Apple’s latest product lineup, experience new features, and receive expert support from team members.”
The company further added, “Customers will also be able to attend Today at Apple sessions at these new store locations. Designed to inspire and educate, Today at Apple helps customers get started with their devices or take their skills further—whether in photography, music, art, or coding—through free events led by Apple Creatives.”
Just last week, Apple confirmed the opening of its first store in Bengaluru at the Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bellary Road, scheduled for 2 September. The company first entered the Indian retail space with its flagship store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, followed soon after by another outlet in Delhi’s Saket.
The Pune store marks another step in Apple’s fast-growing India journey as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the country ahead of its next major iPhone release.
