Ultraviolette has announced a major leap in electric motorcycle technology with the launch of its Gen3 Powertrain Firmware, featuring a new performance mode called Ballistic Plus. The company is redefining ownership by offering the upgrade free of cost to all existing and new F77 riders, enhancing loyalty and long-term riding experience.
The latest development follows the success of the F77 MACH 2 launched in 2024, which set new benchmarks with advanced features such as Traction Control, Dynamic Stability Control, Hill-Hold Assist, and Violette A.I. Building on insights from over 8 million kilometres of ride data, Ultraviolette has now unveiled Ballistic Plus as part of its Gen3 firmware update, promising sharper, faster, and more powerful electric performance.
Explaining the company’s vision, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said: “While others may practice planned obsolescence, we believe in the opposite paradigm where technology evolves and gets better with time. At Ultraviolette, we envision how a machine could learn from you, evolve with you, and unlock more power the longer you own it.”
Ballistic Plus has been designed to deliver an adrenaline-charged riding experience. At the heart of this evolution is Violette A.I., Ultraviolette’s intelligent connected system, which continuously learns from rider behaviour, throttle inputs, and diverse riding conditions. The advanced Vehicle Control Unit processes more than 3,000 data points every second, enabling precise updates that elevate both performance and efficiency.
Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and Co-founder, emphasised the breakthrough, saying: “This is a breakthrough in electric performance, based on precision engineering, and intelligent evolution.”
With this announcement, all F77 motorcycles will now be upgraded with the Gen3 Powertrain Firmware. By ensuring every rider, whether new or existing, enjoys access to cutting-edge technology at no additional cost, Ultraviolette has reinforced its commitment to innovation and rider satisfaction.
The Gen3 upgrade with Ballistic Plus not only highlights Ultraviolette’s ability to push boundaries in electric mobility but also signals a future where machines continue to evolve with their owners, making every ride smarter, sharper, and more thrilling.
