Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a new AI-powered operations centre in Mexico City, marking its eighth facility in the country. The company has been operating in Mexico for more than 22 years and has employed over 11,000 skilled professionals in the region.
According to the TCS, the new centre is designed to function as an innovation hub that will collaborate with both local and global clients. It will house AI specialists and software engineers with expertise in enterprise technologies and will provide a wide range of services, including artificial intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, IT infrastructure, application development and cognitive business operations.
Rajeev Gupta, head of nearshore LATAM and country head Mexico at TCS, said, “The launch of our AI-powered office in Mexico City marks a significant milestone in our journey towards delivering cutting-edge solutions for all our customers in the country. TCS currently serves more than 400 major clients across Latin America, with leading organisations such as Cemex, Febraban, Banamex and Bradesco among its key customers.
