Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, has appointed Darshan Parikh as Senior Director for its Corporate Solutions Group (CSG). With more than 15 years of experience in global and domestic insurance and reinsurance markets, Parikh brings deep expertise in Marine, Aviation, and Space sectors, which will further strengthen Lockton’s specialty risk offerings in India.
In his new role, Parikh will focus on expanding Lockton’s Marine, Aviation, and Space practices, using his strong technical skills and extensive market knowledge to create innovative, cost-effective, and customised risk solutions. He will be part of the CSG team led by Mukul Bhatia, contributing to growth, strategy, and client value across these high-specialty areas.
Parikh joins Lockton from a leading insurance broker, where he headed the Marine, Aviation, and Facultative Reinsurance businesses. His responsibilities included business development, strategic operations, and managing the profit and loss on a pan-India scale. Known for handling complex global placements and structuring alternative risk programs, he has built long-term relationships with several high-profile clients.
He is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII), demonstrating a strong foundation in both finance and insurance.

Outside of work, Parikh enjoys travelling and is passionate about sports. He follows cricket and football closely and is a dedicated supporter of Manchester United Football Club.
