Sennheiser has introduced its new Accentum Open True Wireless earphones in India. Designed with an open-ear style, these earphones feature an 11mm dynamic transducer and are built with an IPX4 rating for splash resistance. The company claims the Accentum Open can deliver up to 28 hours of total playback time when paired with the charging case.
The new headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with SBC and AAC codecs, and includes multipoint connectivity, allowing users to connect to two devices at the same time. Touch controls are built into the stems for managing calls and music, along with a Smart Pause function that stops playback automatically when an earbud is removed.
Priced at Rs. 9,990, the Sennheiser Accentum Open earphones is available in Black and Cream colour options through online platforms, the company’s website, and retail outlets in India. Each earphone is fitted with dual beamforming microphones and AI-powered noise reduction. Sennheiser says the open-ear design helps reduce ear fatigue and keeps users aware of their surroundings.
The earphones have a frequency response range of 25Hz to 15kHz and a sensitivity of 109dB. Each earbud carries a 36mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 400mAh battery. The earphones are said to last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge, and the total playback time extends to 28 hours with the case. Fast charging is supported, offering up to 1.5 hours of listening with just 10 minutes of charging. The charging case supports both USB Type-C wired charging and Qi wireless charging.
In terms of weight, each earbud weighs 4.35g, and the case weighs 29.3g, making the set lightweight and portable for daily use.
