Tata AutoComp Systems has announced that it will acquire Slovakia based IAC Group in a move aimed at strengthening its capabilities and expanding its footprint in the UK and European markets. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.
The acquisition will be carried out through Tata AutoComp’s British subsidiary, Artifex Interior Systems Limited, which has entered into a conditional agreement to purchase 100 per cent of the share capital of IAC Group Slovakia. The completion of the transaction will be subject to certain conditions, including regulatory approvals.
In a statement, Tata AutoComp said the strategic move aligns with its growth plans and will help position the company as a key partner for global original equipment manufacturers. It added that the acquisition supports its vision of becoming the preferred choice for automotive manufacturers worldwide.
Vice Chairman of Tata AutoComp, Arvind Goel, said, “The acquisition of IAC Slovakia will mark a significant milestone in Tata AutoComp’s global growth journey. Following our earlier acquisition of Artifex, this step strengthens our European presence and reflects our commitment to serving global OEMs more effectively.”
