Xiaomi G 32 QLED TV Review in 5 Points: A Budget TV with Premium Touches

Xiaomi has recently launched its new Smart G 32 QLED TV, priced at ₹13,999 in India. Positioned as an entry-level model in the brand’s smart TV range, this television offers several features that stand out in its segment. After using it for over two weeks to watch content across YouTube and multiple OTT platforms, here’s a breakdown of the experience in five key points.

  1. Google TV Brings a Smart Experience
One of the biggest highlights of the G 32 QLED is that it runs on Google TV. This gives users access to a wide range of applications and a clean, easy-to-use interface. All major streaming apps are available. While overall performance is smooth, there can be occasional delays in remote response, especially when switching apps. Still, opening apps like YouTube is fast, making daily usage pleasant.
  1. Impressive Black Levels at This Price

The display panel offers surprisingly good black levels, especially considering the price. In bright environments, the picture looks immersive. In darker rooms, some backlight bleed and greyness may appear, which is expected in this budget range. Still, the QLED panel performs well and offers a strong viewing experience.

  1. Picture Quality That Delivers

With an HD resolution of 1366×768 and support for DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, the picture quality is sharp enough for regular viewing. It also supports HDR10 and includes Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine 2 technology. Colours appear vibrant, and overall visuals are crisp. While it’s not ideal for high-end gaming consoles like PlayStation 5, it handles everyday content very well.

  1. Suitable Viewing Angles

The TV offers good visuals up to a 45-degree angle. Beyond that, picture quality begins to drop, especially when viewed from extreme corners. But for general use in a living room or bedroom, this is not a major issue.

  1. Budget-Friendly with Smart Features

At ₹13,999, the G 32 QLED is a strong value-for-money option. The addition of Google TV, decent picture quality, and QLED tech make it a standout in the budget TV market.
