Amit Ray has been appointed as the CIO Advisory & Customer Success Leader at Jio Platforms Limited (JPL). With more than 20 years of experience across the technology, retail, telecom, and financial services sectors, Amit will now lead CXO Advisory, Customer Success, and Revenue Enablement at JPL, helping to drive Reliance Jio’s enterprise strategy forward.
Prior to this, Amit was the Chief Information Officer at Reliance Digital, where he led the company’s digital transformation for nearly ten years. During his tenure, Reliance Digital made significant progress in adopting AI/ML, cloud solutions, automation, and cybersecurity—delivering stronger customer experiences, streamlined operations, and increased profitability across its core functions.
Amit has also held strategic roles at leading organizations such as Vodafone, JPMorgan Chase, Wipro, Capital One, and GE. Across these companies, he was responsible for key initiatives in enterprise architecture, regulatory compliance, and global digital innovation.
With his strong background in digital strategy, technology leadership, and transformation programs, Amit brings valuable insights to Jio Platforms. His new role marks a continued focus by Jio on redefining customer success and driving enterprise growth through technology.
