CS TECH Ai’s Offshore Model Fuels India’s GCC Expansion

CS TECH Ai’s artificial intelligence (AI)-led offshore model is gaining significant traction as Global Capability Centres (GCCs) continue their rapid expansion across India. With the number of GCCs in the country projected to exceed 1,760 by 2025, engineering service providers like CS TECH Ai are proving indispensable for multinational corporations seeking to establish and scale their operations swiftly while leveraging India’s vast technical expertise.

The partner-led Offshore Development Centre (ODC) model, spearheaded by specialized engineering firms, is increasingly becoming the preferred operational strategy. This model effectively addresses a common challenge faced by senior GCC leaders: the burden of routine operational management, which often diverts their focus from high-value engineering and digital transformation initiatives.

Under the partner-run ODC model, companies can collaborate with a provider to co-build their centers in India, with the partner managing the entire lifecycle of operations—from recruitment and training to project delivery and governance. A compelling example of this successful synergy is AllyGram Systems & Technologies, a delivery center jointly established by Germany’s Grammer AG and AllyGrow Technologies (now the mobility engineering vertical of CS TECH Ai).

CS TECH Ai launched in 2018 with a team of just over 20 engineers, AllyGram has since burgeoned to more than 100 professionals, expertly managing end-to-end engineering design, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for Grammer’s global operations. This operational structure allows CS TECH Ai to autonomously manage the delivery center, freeing Grammer AG to concentrate on complex product development and innovation.

With projections indicating that over 400 new GCCs are expected to open in India by 2030, the partner-operated model is poised to be a pivotal driver of India’s continued growth in the engineering and digital services sectors.
