Prashant Dewangan has taken on a new leadership role as India Marketing Lead – Data Center Solutions at Iron Mountain Data Centers. He brings with him over 10 years of B2B marketing experience across the IT and telecom industries.
In his new role, Dewangan will drive strategic marketing efforts aimed at expanding Iron Mountain’s presence in India. His key responsibilities include increasing market share, boosting pipeline growth, and strengthening brand visibility for the company’s secure and compliant colocation, hyperscale, and interconnection services across the Indian subcontinent. His appointment comes at a time when the demand for resilient, regulation-compliant data center infrastructure in India is on the rise.
Dewangan is known for his expertise in integrated campaigns, field marketing, and digital strategies. Before joining Iron Mountain, he led marketing initiatives at Web Werks Data Centers, playing a key role in elevating the brand during its joint venture and eventual acquisition by Iron Mountain. His efforts helped align marketing with business goals, contributing to enterprise growth and improved customer engagement.
Prior to Web Werks, Dewangan held senior marketing positions at several leading technology companies, including IceWarp India, STL (Sterlite Technologies), Sophos, Sify Technologies, Capgemini, and Mitel. During his career, he has successfully managed marketing operations, brand development, and campaigns across APAC, MEA, and global teams. Earlier, at Airtel, he was instrumental in leading the telecom giant’s rebranding campaign in Mumbai, achieving significant improvements in brand recall and market visibility.

Dewangan holds a degree in Computer Science from Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus and is an alumnus of the Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM). His strong technical background combined with marketing expertise positions him well to support Iron Mountain’s growth plans.
