Bosch Commits €2.5 Billion to AI Development by 2027, Targeting €10 Billion in Annual Revenue by 2035

German industrial giant Bosch has announced a massive commitment of €2.5 billion towards artificial intelligence (AI) development initiatives by the end of 2027.

The strategic investment, revealed at Bosch Tech Day 2025, underscores the company’s aggressive push to deeply integrate AI across its core business sectors: mobility, manufacturing, and consumer products.

Bosch’s primary goal with this substantial investment is to unlock new revenue streams and significantly enhance operational excellence throughout its diverse operations.

The company has already demonstrated its leadership in European AI innovation, having filed over 1,500 AI-related patent applications in the past five years alone.

Looking further ahead, Bosch anticipates generating more than €10 billion in annual revenue from AI-powered products and services by 2035.

A significant portion of this projected revenue is expected to come from the burgeoning field of assisted and autonomous driving, which encompasses cutting-edge software, advanced sensors, high-performance computing, and sophisticated networking technologies. This ambitious roadmap solidifies Bosch’s position at the forefront of AI adoption in industrial applications.
